Melissa, how sad.  I did not know Christina but she appears full of life in her lovely picture.  May those of you who loved her find comfort in remembering the joy she brought to your lives.

What a difficult time this must be for you. I understand the loss of a good friend. You still think of them on all of the special days and moments you know they'd love. Melissa - I knew we were about the same age, but I didn't realize that she didn't make it to her 40th birthday.  I will continue to pray for her family and friends.

Melissa, I was so sad to read this early the other day.  I knew her in the rain and she is a delight.  My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family and friends and she is missed here on AR.

I had been watching for news of Christina, then took a few days off of the Rain only to come back to the news. My prayers are with you, Christina and her family. She was one of the very first people to call me from our Active Rain family. I loved her photos and looked forward to her next expression of beauty. . . This is the first year I will participate in Relay For Life. Takes on a new meaning now.
